I recently completed an artist in residence program with Ocean Stays in Yamba which is an absolutely glorious spot on the NSW north coast. Yamba has always held a spot in my heart but I haven't been there for over 20 years so I was utterly thrilled when asked to not only go there, but to paint it! 
 
I took a million photos while we were there and have now created three cute-as-a-button minis, all framed and ready to hang. 
 
This one is Afternoon Walk at Yamba Beach and is a lively depiction of the view of the path that leads down to the beach, looking across the ocean with the lighthouse in the distance. It's late afternoon so the shadows are hitting the beach and path.
 
This size painting is perfect for a small wall or part of a gallery hang and could also work on a shelf or mantel. It's a great size for gifting, too, because it's an easy size to find a home for.
