The Beach at Potato Point was painted using a reference photo I took while camping at Potato Point which is a few hours south of Sydney. It's a gorgeous spot, with fresh ocean air and friendly wildlife (sometimes too friendly!), perfectly located on a stretch of pristine beach. This is one of a series of paintings of this area and in this one, I wanted to capture the simplicity of it's beauty. It's like travelling back in time and imagining these incredible coastal areas when nobody really knew about them. Nature at its best!
 
The painting is made using artist quality acrylic paint on quality Italian cotton canvas. It can be framed but doesn't need to be - the edges are painted as part of the image (see photos) so it will still make an impact even without a frame. However, framing can be included for additional $320. Choose from the menu and please allow up to additional 3 weeks for framing.
