Pink Canopy is based on a photo I took in the Hunter Valley in NSW on a glorious sunny summer's day. The dappled light catching on the foliage and throwing shadows was mesmerising. This is the third time I've recreated this scene (this one is the largest so far) and each time I've enjoyed the process more and more. I've introduced some differences each time and I'm looking forward to watching the scene evolve as I continue to make more in the series.
