This pear features rich cool greens and sits on a pale pink surface against a neutral background.
The more I paint pears, the more I find myself likening them to the human body, with all their differences in shape and form along with their supple flesh. This is a slender pear, compared with Fuller Pear (also featured on my website). They're different but would make a lovely pair ;-)
Painting measures 20 x 20cm. It was made with quality artist’s acrylic paint on Italian cotton stretched canvas. It would make a great addition to a gallery hang and also a lovely gift as it’s small enough to be displayed in any room.
