15 x 18cm plus gorgeous natural flooded gum frame. Frame is 5.5cm deep making it perfect to stand if hanging isn't an option.
 
I recently completed an artist in residence program with Ocean Stays in Yamba which is an absolutely glorious spot on the NSW north coast. Yamba has always held a spot in my heart but I haven't been there for over 20 years so I was utterly thrilled when asked to not only go there, but to paint it! 
 
I took a million photos while we were there and have now created three cute-as-a-button minis, all framed and ready to hang. 
 
This one is Yellow Umbrella in Yamba and is a modern painting showing a young mum nursing her baby on the beach in the early morning sun under the shade of her gorgeous yellow and white umbrella. I painted this from a reference photo I took while enjoying a morning coffee at main beach and simplified the scene by removing the other beach goers to convey the serenity the young mum was (hopefully!) experiencing. 
 
This size painting is perfect for a small wall or part of a gallery hang and could also work on a shelf or mantel. It's a great size for gifting, too, because it's an easy size to find a home for.
